Established in 2016, Brow Boutique South Africa is a boutique permanent makeup and lash studio situated in the picturesque mountainside suburb of Little Falls, Johannesburg.
As one of the first studios in the country to specialise exclusively in microblading, Brow Boutique played an early role in setting the benchmark for natural, refined results within the South African market. At a time when the treatment was still emerging locally, we built our reputation on precision, restraint and consistently high standards.
Since opening our doors, more than 15 000 clients have entrusted us with their transformations. Our studio operates with a client-first philosophy, where every treatment is thoughtfully designed, individually mapped and tailored to enhance your natural features with balance and intention rather than passing trends.
Beyond the treatment room, Brow Boutique is home to a fully established training academy dedicated to developing skilled, confident artists across a multitude of techniques. Jess Hollingdrake proudly serves as a Board Member of the Permanent Cosmetic Association of South Africa (PCASA), contributing to the continued growth, education and professional advancement of the permanent makeup industry in South Africa.
PCASA is the South African chapter of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP), the world's largest non-profit organisation dedicated to permanent cosmetic professionals. The association is committed to promoting excellence through ongoing education, ethical practice, industry standards and public protection.
As both a Board Member and Full Member, Jess actively supports initiatives that strengthen the profession, encourage collaboration amongst artists and help shape the future of permanent makeup in South Africa.

I needed a cover up done on previous microblading work done at a different establishment. Jess created a beautiful brow shape and then covered up my brows using her Signature Brows process, leaving me with beautiful eyebrows that still look natural despite being a cover up. I am so happy with the results and can’t wait for my 6 week touch up. The studio is gorgeous and clean, and the attention to detail and customer service really blew me away.

Brow Boutique offers a very professional service in their stylish and comfortable salon.
Jess is extremely talented at microblading and shading (I did both) and I can't get over how amazing my brows look. Having started with very patchy brows and not being the greatest at applying my own makeup, I now have great brows every day without having to make any effort. I also had lash enhancing eyeliner done by Aleesha (whose work is also amazing) and am delighted with this effect too. I was nervous to try these procedures at first (being semi-permanent and all) but definitely dont regret my decision.

Jess Hollingdrake is recognised as one of South Africa's early pioneers in Microblading, having completed extensive international training in Microblading, Permanent Makeup, Colour Theory and Tattoo Removal. With over a decade of industry experience, she has built a reputation for technical excellence, precision and a thoughtful, client-focused approach to cosmetic tattooing.
A 4× Certified Brow Artist, recognised Master Trainer and current LI Pigments Global Pro Team Artist, Jess combines advanced technical expertise with a strong commitment to safety, education and evidence-based best practice. Her work is driven by continual learning, ensuring every treatment reflects the latest techniques, pigments and industry standards.
She is internationally certified in OSHA-compliant safety practices for tattoo artists, including Bloodborne Pathogens training, and has completed a broad range of advanced certifications across permanent makeup and aesthetics.
Jess also serves as a Board Member of the Permanent Cosmetic Association of South Africa (PCASA), where she helps shape the future of the industry through education, ethics and professional standards. In addition, she is a Professional and Corporate Member of SAAHSP, reflecting her ongoing commitment to continual professional development and the highest standards of practice.
